Stash Yarns is the product
of two friends, Michelle and Nathalie who are fanatical about knitting
and have been doing so since they were children. Michelle started the
Southwest London Knitting and Crochet group in October of 2005 with an
interest in meeting other knitters in the Putney area.
After inviting Nathalie to a meeting, the two became knitting buddies
sharing ideas, and their stashes of yarn. During their numerous knitting
discussions they talked about their dream of opening a shop where they
could have all of the beautiful yarns they had been reading about on the
internet all in one place.
They decided to open a place of their own where the most beautiful yarns
from around the world could be found. Their shop would be a place where
knitters could gather to learn and discuss new techniques, be amongst
people with a similar passion and of course, be surrounded by one of the
best yarn stashes in the world.
